Antoinette King

Antoinette King is a servant leader and public-sector innovator committed to building safer, more connected communities in Birmingham, Alabama. She currently serves as Chief of Staff to Birmingham City Councilor Josh Vasa, overseeing strategic planning, community engagement, legislative coordination, and cross-departmental collaboration to advance equitable policy and neighborhood-focused solutions.

Antoinette has over 8 years of municipal experience, serving as a Senior Project Manager in the Chief's Office at the Birmingham Police Department. She has also held leadership roles in emergency communications and operations. Her career demonstrates a strong commitment to enhancing public safety, promoting accountability, and ensuring fairness within government systems.

Antoinette is a graduate of Leadership Shelby County, the Woodlawn United WE Lead Fellowship, and the PBJC MPACT Cohort. Currently, she is a fellow in the 2026 Mosaic Changemakers program and is pursuing a B.S. in Business Administration at Faulkner University, and will graduate in December 2026. She believes that effective leadership starts with service and building community trust.

Tony Diliberto

Tony Diliberto is a community engagement professional with more than three decades of experience in marketing, communications, business development, and relationship management. Known for his people-first approach, Tony has spent much of his career building strong connections between residents, neighborhood organizations, local businesses, nonprofits, and community leaders throughout Birmingham, with a strong focus on the communities that make up District 3.

His work has centered around developing meaningful partnerships, supporting local businesses, coordinating community initiatives, and helping organizations better connect with the people they serve. With a background in strategic communications, event coordination, and public engagement, Tony brings a collaborative and solutions-oriented mindset to every project and initiative he supports in District 3 and across the city.

A longtime resident of the Glen Iris neighborhood for more than 26 years, Tony is deeply invested in the continued growth and success of Birmingham’s neighborhoods and the residents of District 3. His passion for civic involvement and neighborhood engagement is rooted in both his professional experience and personal commitment to the city he calls home.

Outside of his professional work, Tony enjoys spending time outdoors and staying active in the community through local organizations and volunteer efforts. He and his wife, Amelia, share their home with their two dogs, Dottie and Pepper.
